Redbridge is a comprehensive, master-planned community in Squamish, British Columbia, situated along the Mamquam River and positioned as a gateway for residents who value outdoor recreation, waterfront access, and a balanced urban-meets-nature lifestyle. The development spans an 8.3-acre site and includes multiple mid-rise buildings, combining condominium and townhome residences with retail/commercial space and a broad suite of shared amenities.
With a mix of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom layouts and proximity to trails, waterways, and community infrastructure, Redbridge is designed to integrate modern living with Squamish’s natural setting and active-lifestyle culture.
The Scope
For the initial buildings of Redbridge (Buildings 1–4), Sky Windows was contracted to deliver the glazing and exterior-glass package. Their scope includes exterior curtain walls, both exterior and interior storefront systems, aluminum louvers, fire-rated glazing, architectural glass canopies, and aluminum doors with hardware. Given the scale and variety of building types (townhomes, condos, mixed-use spaces), the glazing systems must deliver durability, weather resistance, fire safety, energy performance, and design cohesion — supporting both residential comfort and street-level retail/activity zones. The design intent appears to emphasize transparency, natural light, and strong connection to the surrounding landscape and riverside setting.
The Outcome
Redbridge is currently under construction with completion targeted for 2025. The glazing and architectural glass systems provided by Sky Windows will form a robust, high-quality building envelope that supports both the residential and commercial components of this new waterfront community. Once finished, Redbridge will offer hundreds of homes, retail/commercial spaces, and access to extensive amenities, integrating modern living with nature, and contributing to the growth and revitalization of Squamish’s downtown and waterfront corridor.
