Project Intro
Archetype is a bold, mixed-use development redefining the Marine Gateway area with its integration of two mid-rise towers bridged by an eight-storey residential building. The project comprises over 200 rental homes, along with office and industrial spaces, designed to create a vibrant, livable community hub that supports Vancouver’s evolving urban economy. Sky Windows is contributing both exterior and interior glazing systems to support the project’s architectural and functional goals.
The Scope
Sky Windows is providing a full suite of glazing solutions for Archetype, including exterior aluminum curtain wall systems, interior storefronts, and both exterior and interior aluminum doors complete with hardware. The scope also includes glass canopies, louvers, and aluminum sandwich panels—highlighting the development’s contemporary industrial-residential aesthetic.
The Outcome
With completion scheduled for mid-2025, Sky Windows’ contribution reflects its capability to manage complex, multi-use construction projects with precision and consistency. The work supports Archetype’s architectural identity while meeting the durability and performance requirements of a mixed-use, high-traffic environment.
